Media Visits

We plan to enjoy a positive working relationship with media of all kinds and are happy to host them at Horse Expo whenever we can and as is appropriate.  Because we will receive requests from media seeking access, we ask their cooperation with the following guidelines.  This will ensure that media and our horse loving fans will enjoy the best experience possible.

Horse Expo Canada Show Media Accreditation Application

Below is the media accreditation application form for Horse Expo Canada (Westerner Park, Red Deer, Alberta) held as part of the Horse Expo Canada running April 28-30, 2023.

Members of the media are required to submit one application form per person.  Upon receipt, applicants will be contacted by a member of the Horse Expo media team.  Due to high demand, each application will be considered on its own merit and not all requests will be granted.  Please contact media@horseexpo.ca with questions.

Please Note: By applying for and accepting a media credential, members of the media agree that the pass will be used for the purpose of reporting on the show for a recognized print or website media outlet.  Media passes may only be used by the individual granted accreditation.  Accredited photographers must be on assignment and may only take images for media purposes only and may NOT solicit sales or provide images to Horse Expo exhibitors.  If working as a freelancer, all requests must be accompanied by a letter of assignment signed by the publication editor on branded documents.  Media passes may only be granted to individuals 18 years of age or older.

Seating for Horse Expo performances is on an assigned/ticketed basis, and some open seating.  A media pass does not guarantee a seat for any clinic, speaker, or performance.  Seating arrangements must be made directly with the Horse Expo media team.  Any member of the media wishing to enter any arena or presentations must be approved and be accompanied by a member of the Horse Expo team.
