Marci Powell

Marci is a WPRA/CPRA Professional Barrel Racer. Marci has been in the top 15 Canadian Professional Rodeo Standings twice, and has qualified for the Calgary Stampede 4 times. She won her first professional rodeo in 1984 as a teenager, and set a CPRA record for winning the Richest Professional Barrel Race at a PRCA/CPRA Rodeo in Canada. She held that record for many years on a horse she trained herself called "Barney". She is a many time rodeo finalist, Futurity & Derby's winner. As well has trained 4 horses of the year. She moved back from Texas a few years ago where she also trained barrel horses.

Marci’s clinic will take place over all 3 days of Horse Expo 2023.

Friday will cover drills to quicken your horses feet and add fluidity to your barrel horse.
Saturday will cover why foot placement matters, and analyzing the barrel pattern.
Sunday’s session will be essential dry work for keeping your barrel horse sharp
